Admissions has my Back!

Here we go....1 post from my list! And probably like 10 more to add. But let's get started.

Many of you probably heard about my horrible Monday or better yet my horrible week in general last week. The stress of classes, friends issues, and everything going on in life got to me while I was on the phone with a very upset parent. I'll save you the boredom again, she said "this is most negative experience of my life," I explained to her that our counselors don't just sit at their desks all day, but they have many other jobs and that they were on lunch. That did not satisfy her, she was on lunch and wanted it her way. In the end I ended up in tears. While all this was happening the secretary on the desk who should have been at lunch heard it was going bad, one of the counselors who was off to lunch with 2 others heard this was going bad and swarmed in. They were concerned. After everything was resolved I realized what had happened, they weren't leaving me behind to get the short end of the stick with this. They were there to make sure that everything that was happening did not hurt me more. People can be mean but we have to make sure we can deal with them in the most professional ways. While this may not have been one of my most professional ways, I can saw that the way that my co-workers handled it after was.

See this is how our office works. And I love it! We are always looking out for each other I have never seen it so much though expect for in this office. They make sure we take our studies seriously and if that means less availability and more people that is what is done. If that means pulling the slack for any reason for the day, they reward us with a great email, lunch, or snacks throughout the week. Even the email makes me feel better some days.

They have my back no matter where I end up in life. While I may get mad here and there about somethings and while I may not like my job all the time I LOVE the people that make up the office. They make going to work fun.

They have my back, even during this HELL week of pre-finals.

The catch up!

I know its been FOREVER! So I have a plan (like usual). I'm going to number the topics/titles of posts I want to get done. This way I am hopefully guarenteed to get most of them done. We'll see how that goes. I mean I started cleaning my room a week ago and its a mess again, thats me. I had good intentions of keeping it clean too, oh well maybe that can be my summer goal.
