{Birthdays} Michelle's 21st

Michelle and I have a one of a kind relationship. I tell her everything, she listens to everything I say and she's always there for me. We met almost 3 years ago, both shy freshman in four classes together. How could I miss the red head in my Science, Math, and Psy classes? After a cancelled class and countless amounts of smiles we started talking to each other, walking to class together and having lunch in between classes. The rest is history. We start our 4th year on Monday, our 4th and final full year together. But for some reason, I think Michelle and I will be friends FOREVER!

Michelle waited all year, celebrated with all of us and with the craziness that is happening with school getting back to the swing of things we had time to celebrate HER birthday, I would say in the classiest way. Team Trivia at Peppinos on her birthday eve, and bowling on her birthday night, a cupcake drop off at work, and balloons at the ally, we know how to do it up.

HAPPY 21st BIRTHDAY MICHELLE!

Michelle, you are the best friend anyone could have. And I know that's why you have multiple best friends. I hope you had the best birthday, you have been waiting for this and talking about this all summer, what a way to end the summer! Now we can kick the school year, our Senior year off with a bang. There is no one that can replace the space you fill in my life, and I know you know that. You and I are the ying and yang for each other..lol We've shared laughs, we've shared crys and deep secrets. And you've taught me how to hug! lol There is something special about college friends, and yes everyone says that but really there is and you are just that special in my life forever. (And yeah I guess I got to share you lol) Happy 21st Birthday Best Friend!

Camping

Before you hear all the dets about my weekend, play this song as you read along. Our theme song for the weekend.

This past weekend could not have been spent in better company. My cousins and their kids, Mary, Amy and I all headed to Metemora for a camping adventure. It had been 4 years since we had been camping together, and times have changed. We had the best time ever, family spending time together is priceless. We jumped right into craziness laughing about boys, and talking about boys, and texting boys. Four years ago we would have never talked about boys. We played endless amounts of cards, and stayed dry in the endless amount of rain that fell. We pulled out the alcohol, and laughed as much as we got wet.

There was something special about this trip, Mary and I told about our crushes and the excitement was priceless. Knowing that I have this kind of family to go to for anything is awesome. They mean the world to me, and having them in my life is priceless, as is any family. There is something special about camping with family, enjoying their company and creating memories.

I think I may have had more fun this weekend then any other trip I had this summer. We hit the beach for a little while, grilled some awesome food, taught the kids to play washers, and harassed the boys in the lake. Kyle and Jake get ready for some more revenge, just kidding LOVE you boys! LOVE you too Jess, (can't wait to hear about Middle School. )

Saturday night will be a memorable night forever with my cousins. Did I ever think I would be drinking with them, no way. Times have changed!

Enjoy some of the pictures of the weekend. Love you Kim, Kris, Carl and Kids! Let's do it again!

Sisterhood Everlasting

Anyone who has read the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants series needs to put those pants back on for another, final, installment of Tibby, Bee, Carmen and Lena. In Sisterhood Everlasting, we see the girls in their lives 10 years after the infamous pants were lost in Greece. Life is very different for the girls, and the sisterhood that once kept them all together has fallen to pieces. They experience life changing events in their own lives before they are rocked to the core, and the life changing event in the sisterhood.

Tibby, Bee, Carmen and Lena hold a special place in hearts and this book will be one that will keep you reading on what is going to happen in the end to these four girls.

Sisterhoods are special to many, and to have a sisterhood to live with makes the bumps in life more doable and enjoyable when you have someone by your side.

Before the summer ends, pick up Sisterhood Everlasting to enjoy the final summer of the sisterhood.
