Rewind! A Gift to Treasure!

I mentioned before that I was working on a special project for Mrs. Sampson with her 1st graders help. As part of my English final we had to give a gift to the class, while I gifted Mrs. Sampson's 1st graders with many different learning tools one gift in particular I made for Mrs. Sampson and her family. Mr. Bryan, Megan's husband is away fighting for our country, the girls always LOVED telling me about Mr. Bryan and showing me new pictures of him. I involved the whole class by working on a book for Mr. Bryan. J and R helped me prior to presenting it to the class with the title and dedication page. They were both really excited to show the rest of their classmates.

Here's the finished project. Megan was very excited to have the class work on this book for her husband and their family.

The Title, Title Page, and Dedication Page

 The students work
Some thought very long and hard on what to write
R likes being American because I am free to celebrate Christmas
J likes being American because I can do whatever I want.

D likes being American because we have school.

A likes being American because we have Doctors.

All the 1st graders LOVED working on the book for Mr. Bryan and could not wait to see how it looked when it was finished.
This project was a great way to start off the Holidays.

(More on Christmas and such to come!)

Till Later!
