Chronicles of Room 19:Learning Centers

My students just finished up a unit of Metrics. While it was a short unit, it seemed to last forever some days. The students for the most part understood what Metrics were all about but it was still interesting to see their brains working to figure out conversions and the best way to measure certain objects.

For my Learning Boards, I decided I was going to make new Metrics activities to add to their Math Options. So on Friday to review for the test, my CT allowed them to work in centers to use what they knew about Metrics with my learning boards.

Here's some cropped pictures of the groups working on the Metrics options

It was perfect to have them work on the activities before I turned them in, so they can help work out the kinks. And they found a couple. So I took them to rework a little bit. Today one of my students ask where the activities I made were at, too cute.
